RISD UNBOUND is an event celebrating artists’ books, zines, and experimental printed matter created by RISD students and community, local artists and designers, as well as publishers, artists, designers, and print enthusiasts from across the region. Through exhibits and sales, UNBOUND seeks to inspire conversations around cultural publishing in the Providence community. RISD UNBOUND is free and open to the public!
The next UNBOUND will take place Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 11am-5pm at RISD’s Fleet Library, 15 Westminster Street, Providence RI 02903.
Applications for UNBOUND 2026 will open in mid-February 2026.
The application will ask for your contact information, artist website and/or social media, a description about you/ your organization, and a description about what you plan to sell at the fair.

How do I get to the fair?
The fair is located on the 1st floor of Fleet Library at RISD in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. The building entrance is at 15 Westminster Street. Fleet Library is easily accessible by public transportation.
Where do I park?
Designated public parking lots and garages are located throughout downtown Providence. Metered street parking is also available throughout Providence. Rules and restrictions are posted on signs along the streets.
